  I saw Dr. Oettinger for the first time last week. I found him to be pompous and insulting. He indicated that he didn't think I could follow the protocol necessary for weight loss surgery since I've been treated for depression. He has NO files on my depression issue which I have successfully overcome with medication and therapy. He even called my bariatric surgeon saying he wouldn't sign a permission for surgery letter indicating that I am able to have the REVISION surgery!! I met with him for 10 minutes and he almost ruined my chances for a lifesaving surgery, I left his office crying. Depression is not incapacitating and as a doctor, he should know this. He even said to me, "you aren't bipolar or anything, are you". How humiliating. I reported him to HUMANA and formally required that he NOT have any access, per HIPPA law, to my medical information. If I could have given him less than one star, I would have.

  if I could rate zero,,,, incomplete diagnostics , They Put My life in danger, Good thing I went to another medical place a week later , I knew they didnt do enough to help

  Calling in for the second time this morning gave up after waiting 3 minutes on hold at9am..... Still on hold trying to schedule an appointment. Wow what should I expect when I go rather let's try another provider who actually staffs the office..
