  I just had adopted a kitten who was having a bad reaction to the anesthesia from getting spayed. I took her during emergency hours and felt so comfortable with her in their care. Dr. Lanza was so helpful and very nice. Overall, great service and a great Veterinary Hospital. I will definitely come back again and bring my two other dogs next time they need to see a vet.

  Took my dog in on the weekend as it was the closest emergency vet. The vet on duty said my dog did not have an ear infection, and rattled off a number of unusual causes for her head shaking and vomiting. They wanted to do bloodwork there but it would just be exploratory; they didn't have a specific reason to do so. I declined when they said it could wait until the weekday. Took my dog to her regular vet first thing Monday, and she did in fact have an ear infection, so I basically wasted $135 for no gain at all; not even peace of mind. I asked about ear infection specifically when I took her to the emergency vet, so it's not like they weren't thinking about it being a possibility. It really seems like they just wanted to squeeze every dollar out of me and give my dog no relief simultaneously. My regular vet was extremely dubious about the far-out causes to which the emergency vet attributed my dog's problems and was very specific about her reasonings. Are these people just guessing?
